#TuneInThursday: Transgender Survivor Contestant Outed By Another Contestant

Holy effing shit. That did not just happen. 

Survivor just got interesting after contestant Jeff Varner revealed that contestant Zeke Smith is transgender during tribal council last night in order to save his ass and "show deception". So cringeworthy and the whole World Wide Web has sounded off on the whole thing leading Jeff to apologize on Instagram and Zeke to share his thoughts and feelings. According to Jeff, it was the worst decision of his life, while Zeke is proud of how he handled it.

Now media outlets are breaking down how the show is the most low-key progressive reality show because of how the whole sitch was dealt with. They are saying that Survivor missed out on an opportunity by not promoting the fact that they cast a transgender contestant for the first time ever. It could have earned them extra attention in the press and perhaps targeted a new audience. I think Jeff pulled a dick move and there is a serious need for some kind of morals and or boundaries.
