An insane week awaits.
From Monday, November 2nd until Saturday, November 7th, I will be bringing you one step closer to all of the fun that takes place at the Hamilton Film Festival. Each day, time permitting, I will release an exclusive interview from the opening gala as well as the expo.
This is my first time covering a film festival, so I'm super pumped and hope that you feel the same! See you all next week - have to rest up for all of the madness!
#TuneInThursday: Dirty Grandpa Trailer
We can get started as soon as you stop swooning/LOLing.
I cannot wait until Dirty Grandpa hits theatres in the new year! Though Robert De Niro and Zac Efron seen like an odd couple, the trailer proves that they're anything but that. This film is going to bring the funny (we hope - I hate when the only funny parts are the scenes shown in the trailer).
The plot behind the film goes a little like this: Foulmouthed Grandpa Dick (De Niro) and his straight-laced grandson Jason (Efron) go on a road trip from Atlanta to a retirement community in Florida. Jason leaves behind his fiancée (Julianne Hough) to finalize all of the details days before they take the plunge. Now why is the film titled Dirty Grandpa? Well, Grandpa Dick's mission throughout this journey is to get Jason to loosen up and he is very successful in doing that.
I'll let you watch the trailer below to determine whether or not this film is for you, but once you've watched it be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments section or tweet me @MissSaverinaS.
#WomanCrushWednesday: Caitlyn Jenner
Before this post officially begins I would like to ask for any and all negativity to be cleared. If that is not possible, then I suggest you stop reading this post.
Today isn't just another day for Caitlyn Jenner. She is celebrating her 66th birthday and the first birthday that she can celebrate feeling comfortable in her own skin. Caitlyn is making history across the globe whether you like it or not. No ifs, ands or buts.
Seeing Caitlyn reveal her true self to the world is very freeing and inspires others to do the same - even me. Maybe not to that extent, but I've learned to love myself for me and not to give a hoot about what anyone else thinks. Just do you. The most important thing in life is to be happy and know that you're living life to your full potential. Find someone to look up to, like #WCW honouree Caitlyn Jenner, and if possible, ask them questions about how they got to where they are today. It really does pay off in the end.

Farewell Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, welcome back Ricky Gervais!
The outspoken funnyman is returning to the Golden Globes stage on January 10th and I couldn't be more thrilled. He's no stranger to the award show as he hosted in 2010, 2011, and 2012 prior to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's 3 year hosting run.
The guy is hilarious and honestly it's the host that makes the show to make up for the 2 hours spent giving out awards that not too many people give a crap about (except me - it's all about the golden hardware). Tina and Amy were spectacular, don't get me wrong. I just prefer Ricky's sense of humour. This host announcement is getting me even more excited for the 2015-2016 award season starting in a month!
Will you miss Tina and Amy? Do you think Ricky was the right choice? Comment below or tweet me @MissSaverinaS!
Hey teenyboppers! Your dreams are coming true (at least I think that's the case).
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have just announced that they will be going on a joint tour called Future Now in 2016. They delivered the news themselves to several media outlets and radio stations including On Air with Ryan Seacrest which is where I first heard of the great news.
I think this has been in the works for quite some time and they say that they're working very hard to make it the best tour possible. It'll be interesting to see what they have up their sleeves, but it'll be smooth sailing since Nick and Demi mesh quite well together (they have a record label together).
Are you excited? Comment your thoughts below or tweet me @MissSaverinaS!
