I am feeling extra reflective these days with 2015 quickly coming to a close.
I didn't think it was possible for this year to be 10 times better than 2014. Last year was as exciting as I thought my life could possibly get with filming the pilot for The Saverina Show on Cable 14 and launching www.saverinascozzari.weebly.com. Well, I was wrong. Some highlights of 2015: - Filming 2 more episodes of The Saverina Show - A huge increase in page views - Launching www.saverinascozzari.com - 4 appearances and counting on TMZ Live - Joining Teen Talk - Becoming the assistant producer and floor director for Hamilton Life - Assisting on Hamilton Eats shoots It is mind-blowing to think of everything that has been accomplished this year, but all of it wouldn't be possible without some very special people, new and old in my life. First, to the kind people at Cable 14 (Harmony, Linda, James, Dan and Danielle). Thank you for being straight up with me about the ins and outs of the TV industry. There are too many people who dish out loads of crap versus those who are real about what's great, and what sucks about their jobs. I found myself surrounded by food A LOT this year with my roles behind the scenes for Hamilton Life and Hamilton Eats. HL is always a blast, and there's never a dull moment. Whether it be switching around segments 2 minutes before filming, or tracking down guests/talent, we (almost) always end the show with smiles on our faces. I get to see firsthand what it takes to make a show and put it on the air from a producer's aspect thanks to Linda for taking me under her wing for the year. Working with James and Dan on Hamilton Eats never goes according to the plan and never leaves me with an empty stomach. I've learned so much from James, especially when it comes to balancing giving in and standing up for what you believe in. Dan is just a pure joy - if I wasn't working with him and James, I would probably never taste sushi or Carribean food. I guess we can say they've brought out my adventurous side. Danielle has no filter and I wouldn't want her to be any different. She's guaranteed to make you laugh even on your worst days. She's inspired me to have fun in front of the camera and be in the moment. Finally, we have Harmony. No matter what, she never loses faith in me - even when I lose faith in myself. She's pushed me to do things that I thought I hated, but learned to love. Gosh, I don't think it's normal to like the people you work with this much. I certainly cannot forget to thank my parents for their constant support. They've been live-in chauffeurs and camera people and have yet to complain about it. And they know when to give me a reality check to bring me back to planet earth, haha. I think my brain would probably explode if I had to make any decision without them. And last, but not least - to my friends, family and readers/viewers. You guys rock! I can't wait to see what 2016 brings and to share whatever comes my way with you.
