#MusicMonday: Q&A with Tyler Shaw

Welcome to the first #MusicMonday Q&A of 2017 with Canadian artist Tyler Shaw! He was kind enough to take the time to answer a few of my questions. Check out the interview below:

Describe yourself in one word.
MOTIVATED.

What is your personal definition of success? 
Success to me, means taking the time to find something that interests you and building a future for yourself that keeps you happy, doing what you love to do. For me, as a musician, I had a passion for writing songs and performing them live for audiences. I am fortunate enough to do what I love every day. That makes me feel successful, and also keeps me motivated.

How do you go about setting and achieving your goals?
I’m practical about goal setting. I like to have to do lists for every week of things I need to accomplish and then setting big goals for the year that I share with my team and we work towards marking them off my list. That’s such a satisfying feeling to cross something off a list.
