 Marianas Trench lead guitarist Matt Webb recently released his new solo single and music video "Again and Again" and I was lucky enough to chat with him about the inspiration behind it as well as his hopes going forward. Check out our Q&A below: What is the inspiration behind “Again and Again”? Again and Again was a collaboration between myself, superstar producer Kevvy Maher, and pop guru Mathew V. We sat in the studio together, laughing our asses off at each other’s life stories and identified some shocking similarities between the three of us. We all continue to make bad decisions again and again. The result was this song. Bad decision? You tell me lol. What did you learn about yourself while making this video? Well, I already knew I couldn’t dance, or act… so I left that to the professionals. I can wear a mean coat, however. And apparently I don’t know how to hold an iPhone properly. How do you hope people will feel while listening to this single? I wanted to create a soundtrack for some late night drives, personal reflection time or just a general bedroom dance party.
