Never in a million years would I have thought I would spend two hours doing interviews at the Hamilton Film Festival opening night gala. And I can't tell you how great it was to have people approaching me to do interviews versus the other way around. There's only one person to thank for that.
Founder Nathan Fleet is super on top of things and always willing to help you out. This year I had HUGE shoes to fill as the usual interview guru Katie Uhlmann stepped down after 6 years and handed me the mic (more on her + TWO interviews with her, her mom and her editor later this week). Nathan went out of his way to introduce me to all of the filmmakers and sent them my way for interviews. I still haven't watched back the footage so let's pray for the best. I dragged my dad along with me to play camera man for the night and couldn't be more grateful for all of his support and time that he puts in. It's always an adventure with him. Be sure to check back here everyday for exclusive interviews (pray). See y'all tomorrow! |
