 Just when you thought it was over. There's still a lot of tension between Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus at the VMAs after Nicki called out Miley for what she said about her in a New York Times interview. Guess where Nicki decided to take out her frustrations? In her own New York Times interview!
Yup, the drama continues (and I love it because it keeps my job entertaining). You can read the full article via The Hollywood Reporter, but all you need to know is that Nicki was not at all faking her anger with Miley that night. She's pissed off that Miley embraces the black culture, but doesn't want to hear what bothers them. Interesting point. Nicki also claims that Miley Cyrus has big balls. A very interesting point. It's all really catty, but it definitely starts a much needed conversation about how the industry treats artists of colour and whether or not there are loopholes for artists of different shapes and sizes. I pray we won't have to wait as long for a response from Miley as we did from Nicki after the VMAs. It's been two months for crying out loud! What do you think?
