Definitely didn't see this coming.
What better way to announce your exit from a reality competition series than via a lengthy post on Facebook. He said, "As a man, an artist and a voice for my community, I will not be silenced." Why is he leaving? Nick said his job was in jeopardy after he did a comedy special "intended to bring communities closer". His NBC bosses were not happy about a joke regarding his time hosting AGT. The joke in question: "I honestly believe, once I started doing 'America's Got Talent', they took my real n****r card." Nick doesn't not see himself returning to the show as "his should won't allow him to be in business with corporations that attempt to frown on freedom of speech, censor artists, and question cultural choices." What are your thoughts on this? I'm still trying to absorb all of this. |
