#TrendingTuesday: Why I Ditched Fashion Police

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Fashion Police will never be the same without Joan Rivers. I'm pretty sure she is the reason why most of the viewers tuned in every week. Since she passed away, things have taken a turn for the worst for the show.

Ratings dropped, things that shouldn't have been said were said, and hosts quit. The only ones that are holding on until the end are Melissa Rivers (she doesn't have much of a choice), Brad Goreski (he's not awful), and Giuliana Rancic (she's got a lot of free time since "choosing" to leave E! News). They decided to give it another shot with the remaining hosts and special guests NeNe Leakes and Margaret Cho to kick-off a new season and cover the VMAs fashion hits and misses.

All you have to do is read the title to know that I did not tune in. Why? All of the hosts seem like hot messes, except for Brad. After reading Giuliana's painful memoir, I find her very irritating - read it and you'll feel the exact same way. Then you have Melissa. Sweet, sweet Melissa. I really do feel for her with the tragic loss of her mother and everything, but I feel like she tries way too hard to fill her mother's shoes when she has her own great qualities. Watching the show just isn't all that satisfying as it is frustrating.

Obviously I had to read the recaps to stay in the loop with the hottest entertainment news headlines, and let's just say there were shots fired at past co-hosts that shall not be named. Melissa opened the show with a lint roller covered in purple and red hair to clean up past messes. You are more than capable of doing the easy math to figure out who the victims were.

So the point of this post is there isn't really one, except to announce to the whole world that Fashion Police and I have parted ways.

Did you tune in last night? What are your thoughts on all of the shakeups? Comment below or tweet me @MissSaverinaS!
