As much as it pains me to put this on my blog, it does fall under the category of entertainment news so I am obligated to say something.
You've probably stumbled upon something in your news feeds and timelines related to the successful launch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan's line of apps. Instead of going with the traditional website, they (their management and PR teams) took it a step further and launched personal apps with 'unique' content. According to all of their social media accounts (the promotional statuses were likely written by the same person), they've been working very hard all year to produce original content for their fans. The apps contain original photo and video shoots (Kim Kardashian's app) and tutorials (Kylie's app has a makeup tutorial featuring a surprise appearance by Caitlyn Jenner). From what I've heard and read, the apps have been doing quite well with full support from Apple. I have yet to download any of the family members' apps and have zero intentions of doing so. However, I wish the family all the best and I am happy that they are in the news for a legitimate reason. What do you think of this business move? Smart or plain stupid?
