#TrendingTuesday: Kanye West Hospitalized

It is incredibly easy to think of over 1000 jokes upon hearing that Kanye West has been hospitalized, but mental health is no laughing matter.

Kanye was taken to a hospital in LA via ambulance and in handcuffs after an emergency medical welfare call was made. This comes after endless performances for his Saint Pablo Tour, two new fashion collections, and infamous rants about Beyoncé, Jay Z, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. His wife Kim Karashian was scheduled to honour her late father at a charity event in New York with the rest of the Kardashian ladies, but immediately turned back and caught a flight back to LA when she heard the news.

I can't really say I am surprised. It was only a matter of time before he cracked. My mom actually made a good point: Kanye has made himself to be this larger than life figure, and now it's too much to handle. It also doesn't help that he doesn't have his friends around. I see this happen to a lot of celebrities. Like I said when Amanda Bynes had her issues, I'll  say it again for Kanye... Those in the spotlight are human too. I hope for the sake of himself and his family, he can get the help that he needs. It doesn't matter if you like him or not (I dig his music, but not him), he needs all of the support he can get. He is very talented and very creative. It would be great to continue having his art be a part of our lives.
