 ABC News Award season is coming!
Yesterday, the nominations for the 2016 American Music Awards were announced causing me to immediately be filled with joy (for those who aren't already aware, this is my favourite time of year). The show will go down on November 20th, ahead of all of the fancy award shows. The nominations were announced yesterday by Joe Jonas (is it me, or does it get more swoon worthy with age?) and Rachel Platten on Good Morning America. Adele, Rihanna, Drake, and even The Biebs are up for the most hardware. Selena Gomez, DNCE, The Weeknd, The Chainsmokers, Meghan Trainor, and more also join them on the list. I'm looking forward to the list of performers - and I am totally rooting for an appearance of any kind by Beyoncé. My prediction is that Adele will win all of the awards, but I am struggling to settle on winners in the other categories. Time will tell. For a full list of nominees, click here. |
