Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip Dead At 53

It's a sad day for music fans and Canadians. 

After battling brain cancer, Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip has passed away. His family released the following statement this morning:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau delivered an emotional tribute to Gord Downie.

Social media is overflowing with tributes to Good as he impacted so many during his time with us. I'd like to send my best to everyone struggling with this news including his family, friends, colleagues and fans.
