 The 2016 American Music Awards are this weekend so I chatted with one of SaverinaScozzari.com's contributors, Dames Nellas. Dames is a radio host and music director at 99.9 FM Virgin Radio, award-winning nightclub DJ and producer in Toronto. Check out our chat below: Who do you think will take home some hardware and for which categories? Here are my list of predictions on major categories: ARTIST OF THE YEAR - Justin Bieber NEW ARTIST OF THE YEAR - The Chainsmokers COLLAB OF THE YEAR - Drake VIDEO OF THE YEAR - Justin Bieber FAV MALE ARTIST - Drake FAV FEMALE ARTIST - Rihanna FAV SONG - One Dance FAV ALBUM - Views Are there any performers you're looking forward to seeing the most? Bruno Mars and Nicki Minaj & Ariana Grande. Well there you have it, a guy that definitely knows what he talks about and I couldn't agree more with his predictions for the major categories. If Dames is right, that's a lot of Canadian talent sweeping up awards. As for the performers, Bruno Mars always puts on a great show. However, I'm not sure if Nicki and Ariana can top their performace at the AMAs. I'm sure they'll prove me wrong, but I do have my doubts.
